I morse snubblade vi in på en artikel på DNs hemsida och även om artikeln skrevs för sex år sedan så tycker vi att ämnet är lika intressant och inte minst lika viktigt nu som då. Och vad är då ämnet? Jo, lycka.
Artikeln med rubriken ”Gör någon glad – bli själv lycklig” fick oss att börja tänka på vad som driver oss på Eventomatic framåt och hur vi kan bidra. Alla företag och personer här i världen har ju olika drivkrafter och mål som man vill uppnå men i slutet så vill väl alla vara lyckliga? Så i en värld som upplevs bli allt hårdare vill vi med våra fotolösningar dra vårt strå till stacken och få människor att komma samman, skratta och för en liten stund därinne i fotobåset, iklädd kanske en knasig peruk och en lösmustasch, slippa tänka på livets alla måsten, tuffa krav och helt enkelt vara glad. Så i slutet av varje vecka när vi går igenom bilderna från de event som våra produkter har haft äran att vara en del av så känner vi oss lyckliga. Lyckliga för att se att det inte bara finns hemskheter utan en massa godhet och glädje där ute i världen och att vi är med och bidrar till detta. Att också veta att våra kunder går därifrån med kanske ett minne för livet (som de också kan sätta upp på kylskåpet hemma i form av t.ex. en fotoremsa), eller åtminstone att deras upplevelse fyller på dopaminet och andra lyckohormer i kroppen och på så vis göra det lättare att ta sig an veckans utmaningar på jobb och i privatlivet.
Så för att nu avsluta det här blogginlägget och komma in i fredagskänslan (FRI-YAY) kommer här en riktigt bra låt som jag tror kan göra er glada. Så skruva upp volymen, ställ dig upp och dansa!

This morning we stumbled on an article on DN’s website and although the article was written six years ago, we think the topic is as interesting and important now as then. So, what was the subject of the article that caught our attention? Well, happiness.
The article entitled ”Make someone happy – to become happy” got us to start thinking about what we at Eventomatic are driven by and how we can contribute. All companies and people in this world have different motivations and goals that they want to achieve, but in the end we all just want to be happy right? So in a world that is seemingly getting tougher to live in we want our photo solutions to be what we contribute with to make people come together, laughing and for a brief moment in that photo booth, maybe dressed up in a funny-looking wig and a fake mustasch be able to not think about all life’s musts, demands and simply be happy. So at the end of each week as we go through the pictures from all the events that our products had the honor to be a part of, we feel happy. Happy to see that there are not only bad but also a lot of good and joy in the world and that we are a part of this. Also knowing that our customers leave the photo booth with perhaps a memory for life (a memory which they can also put on the fridge at home in the form of e.g. a photo strip), or at least that their experience replenish their levels of dopamine and other ”feel good”-hormones in the body and therefore making it easier to take on that week’s challenges at work or life in general.
So to finish this blog post and get into that weekend spirit (FRI-YAY), here’s a really good song that I think will make you happy. So turn up the volume, get up and dance!
